Magazine & editorial
Led and supervised a diverse editorial team, overseeing features, staff recruitment, magazine redesign and cover creation. Successfully managed budgets and consistently met KPIs. Worked with advertising to enhance our brand and create new partnerships.
Digital relaunch
Oversaw significant digital expansion, revamping the website for a vertical strategy and new ad options. Boosted our social-media following, leveraging it for commercial and editorial objectives through campaigns and promotions. Collaborated with a digital editor to enhance content and site performance. Successfully launched the Reader's Digest podcast, co-writing, editing and conducting interviews, which swiftly attracted an audience in the thousands and secured sponsorships.
Company restructure
Rebuilt the editorial team by hiring and training a sub-editor, assistant editor and digital editor. Helped lead a rapid company restructure, achieving profitability within 60 days.
